In a MBI a suitably funded new external management team such as ourselves acquire a business and undertake responsibility for the running of the company. This can happen either alongside existing management or in the case of owner managers who are leaving, through removing existing management. At Maybrook Saint James the corporate finance team are not seeking to become involved in managing the business, in the case of an MBI we would look to recruit suitable management from inside the company or depending on the situation external management.
